Vivix – The Super Grape Extract

Since November is the month of VIVIX, and one of Vivix’s main ingredient is the Muscadine Grape, I am dedicating this post to this ‘super grape’ !
Just look at how huge Muscadine Grapes are, they look more like a small plums than your usual grapes !
These grapes have 20 pairs of chromosomes instead of only 19 pairs in standard grapes. These extra chromosomes bring about change in phytochemicals and nutrients in the muscadine grapes.
Muscadine (Vitis rotundifolia) grapes are grown throughout the South Eastern United States Where the climate and weather conditions can be harsh and unpredictable. It is because the climate is so difficult, the Muscadine has evolved into a grape that tends to be larger, stronger and have thicker skins than traditional grapes. This makes the muscadine grape stronger and more packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients than any other grape. Phytonutrients and antioxidants are natures way of protecting a fruit. In order to survive, Muscadines had to develop a very high level of these beneficial phytonutrients.
Muscadine Grapes Have:
✔ 6 times the Resveratrol content of regular red grapes
✔ The only grape to contain Ellagic Acid
✔ High Quercetin levels (a very beneficial flavonoid)
✔ 40 times higher antioxidant levels than standard red grapes
Shaklee uses a whole fruit pomace of the Muscadine Grape in Vivix !
Because most of the Ellagic Acid and healthy phytochemicals are in the tough skin of this grape, and almost all of the Resveratrol is in the seeds. The pulp also contains many healthy nutrients, so its important that to get all the health benefits of this superfruit, you use the entire grape !
This makes Shaklee’s VIVIX the world’s best, most clinically tested, cellular anti-aging tonic in the market today.
