Assalamu’alaikum everyone ! Happy Friday ! Happy Ramadhan.
It’s the fasting month, and your Aunt Flow comes to visit, you can’t pray, you can’t fast, what do you do ? I just thought I would share some Ramadhan ibadah tips for women during menstruation. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Increase Zikir
    This can be done anytime, anywhere ! We can berzikir while we’re driving, cooking, folding clothes, feeding our kids, walking, etc. The simplest ibadah !
  2. Increase Supplication (Doa)
    Although we cannot pray & fast, this should not prevent us from making doa. Speak to Allah, pour your heart out to Allah, ask Allah. HE is always listening ! ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. Read
    This is also a good time to read more, especially to increase our spiritual knowledge
  4. Listen to Qur’an recitations
    Listening to the Qurโ€™an would help us prefect our recitation of the Qurโ€™an, & at the same time keep our hearts & mind close to Allah.
  5. Sadaqah (sedekah)
    Let’s make a point to give sedekah everyday. This does not only mean monetary sedekah, even smiling to a sister is sedekah. Maybe I should share the types of sedekah we can do in a later post. InshaAllah.

There you go, it’s as simple as that. Don’t let menstruation become a hindrance to bringing ourselves closer to Allah. Allah has promised that “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’an 13:28)
