What’s New?

So what’s new with me after more than a year of leaving the blogosphere?

I have so much to tell but I don’t think I can cram everything into one post.

Nevertheless, I guess I’ll take it fromΒ this post.

Alhamdulillah, Mr Sunshine graduated with flying colours last year and has started working again. This means that he would no longer be at home to take care of the kids should the need arise. It got back to us taking turns to take leave.

convocation
Mak and I with Mr Sunshine on his graduation day!

However, we also found a substitute babysitter to send the kids to when the both of us are unable to take leave. She happens to be the sister in-law’s babysitter who Alhamdulillah is nice & Khayla loves her. Khaleel on the other hand, needs a little warming up every time we send him there because he is very attached to his current sitter whom he affectionately calls ‘Mama’.

This is kind of worrying to me as we are planning to send him to a montessori starting next year but InshaAllah hopefully he will be fine.

Khaleel has grown up to be a very active & talkative kid, Alhamdulillah.

However, I must share that in February this year, he had an afebrile seizure attack when he was at the sitter’s. When I got to him, he was so weak for at least 3 hours & it scared the hell out of me. But of course, it was the usual post-ictal symptom one would experience after a seizure attack.

A colleague of mine helped to send us to the hospital where he was warded for a few days and had anΒ electroencephalogram (EEG) & an MRI carried out on him.Β He had to be sedated for the MRI, so he had to fast and it was not easy handling a hungry (and thirsty) kid especially when he was begging you for your milk.

I bruised my right arm throughout the process, both arms were sore and my chest hurt from him banging his head on it.Β But Alhamdulillah, his MRI turned out normal. However, his EEG did show signs of seizure activity.

EEG
Khaleel before his EEG. πŸ™

When trying to deduceΒ what triggered the attack, the specialist told us it could have been due to the loss of electrolytes as he was vomiting a couple of days prior to that. In addition, we have family histories of febrile & afebrile fits.

It was such a physically & emotionally challenging period for us and definitely one of the scariest moments in my life.

Khayla is in Standard One, can you believe it?

Alhamdulillah, she is doing well in school. She really enjoys swimming, talking, singing & participating in all of her school activities. I pray she continues to have this passion for school, for studying and extra-curricular activities.

It’s funny that one minute she’s telling me she’s best friends with this person and in another minute, they’re not friends anymore. Then, in the following minute, they’re friends again! I don’t remember going through this much drama when I was in Standard One. Haha.

merdeka
Khayla got through to the finals of her school’s pakaian beragam Merdeka competition wearing this outfit.

She will be sitting for her final exams next week, inshaAllah. And oh boy, have you seen the Standard One syllabus these days? I feel sorry for all these kids who have to crack their heads just to follow the syllabus. Please keep Khayla in your prayers!

Daddy had a minor heart attack in March. πŸ™

He was admitted for a week and after a series of tests & appointments, it was decided that he would have to go for a bypass. He had his bypass in July, and was discharged after 2 weeks. Sadly, he was readmitted into the ICU due to an infection on the wound on his leg where they made the incisions for the bypass. πŸ™

bypass
Daddy post bypass in July.

He is now staying with Marc and we hire a nurse to look after him during the day. He is slowly recovering and making progress, albeit slower that expected. Please keep him in your prayers as well!

Marc has moved into a landed quarters!

His new place is in a pretty quiet & cozy neighbourhood where the kids get to play outside & Daddy can take his walks without having to use a lift to go up & down.

Marlene has completed her Bachelors in Dentistry, Alhamdulillah!

Hellooo free veneers! Eh? Haha.

As for myself, work has been stressful as usual but good, Alhamdulillah. I have also dabbled in the world of essential oils, which I shall share in my next post, InshaAllah.

Until my next post, see you!

Under The Coconut Shell

Hi. Hello. Assalamu’alaikum.

Yeah, yeah I know, it has been centuries since I last blogged.
It’s a good thing I still remember my password. Hehe.
I just got to approving some pending comments, will get to replying them, I am so sorry for not noticing your comments especially those who asked for the ibadah schedule from this 2015 post of mine ! InshaAllah I will find time to forward the schedule to you sisters. πŸ™‚

Anywayyyy, it’s 2017 ! It’s March of 2017 already !
Since my last post, I have started working in a new place (well, actually I started working there in June last year), Khayla turned five last year, Khaleel turned one last November, Mr. Sunshine is a few months away from completing his masters (ameen !), and I am 2 kilos away from my pre-pregnancy weight. Alhamdulillah.

Work has been hectic,Β stress-free stressful, but good, Alhamdulillah. I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn so many new things where I am now.

Khayla is going to enter primary school next year, InshaAllah. Can you believe it !?
I feel like I just wroteΒ about her birth yesterday. She is still my baby girllll ! πŸ™
Alhamdulillah she is doing well in her kindergarten, however she can be pretty talkative (I wonder who she takes after *rolls eyes*) which can get her into trouble sometimes. Hehe.

Khaleel started walking at 11 months, Alhamdulillah. He was fully breastfed until he was 1 year, and then I started supplementing with formula at the sitter’s. He still breastfeeds when he is at home. I’m planning to write a separate post on that. Oh Allah, please allow me to have time & inspiration to write that post within this year ! Ameen, haha.
There are times I feel like I am being unfair with Khaleel as when I had Khayla, I wrote a number of posts about her monthly milestones. But it didn’t happen with Khaleel.

Khaleel, when you read this, it’s not because Mummy loves you less, it’s because Mummy was busy nursing you and when Mummy wasn’t nursing you, Mummy was at work pumping milk for you. Hah !Β

Hehe.

So much has happened over the past year, it’s challenging to cram them all up in one post. And I won’t.

As I am writing this, I am thinking of going on a 7-day detox with Mr. Sunshine. We thought of starting tomorrow but we did not go grocery shopping today, plus I have a meeting on Tuesday which means there will be food and there might be a farewell party at the office which means there will beΒ more food, so yeah.

Excuses, excuses. Haha.

I shall update if we ever go on that detox thingy.

See y’all in my next post next year !
Bye !

Sayf Khaleel – 8 Months Progress Report & Raya Updates

Assalamu’alaikum. Hellloouuu !
Selamat Hari Rayaaaaa !
I know am 2 weeks overdue but hey better late than never, huh ? Hee.

I hope your Ramadhan & Syawal has been splendid. πŸ™‚
I was really nervous about fasting this year as I was still exclusively breastfeeding Khaleel. I was worried about my milk supply dipping and I did not know whether I could be able to go without eating during the day. But, Alhamdulillah, with Allah’s permission I managed to fast & breastfeed Khaleel throughout Ramadhan.
Before I knew it, we were already nearing Syawal !

First things first, Raya updates. πŸ™‚

This year Khaleel celebrated his first Syawal, our first as a family of four, Alhamdulillah.
We were in Batu Pahat on the first day of Raya, and Mr. Sunshine’s family chose peach as our theme colour this year. πŸ™‚

Raya Updates
With my in-laws. πŸ™‚

Mak (my MIL) decided to scratch rendang out of the Raya menu this year, so we had ayam ungkep (a Javanese dish), beef satay etc. As usual, after Raya prayers, we asked for forgiveness from everyone, and started to go beraya to a few of Mr. Sunshine’s uncles & aunts houses.

On the second day of Raya, we drove back to Gombak. My mission was to look for rendang ! Hehe.
Found my rendang at Aunty Maziey’s ! We managed to beraya at Akey’s house and a couple of my relatives houses as well. πŸ™‚

Raya Updates 2
One with cousins at Aunty Maziey’s. πŸ™‚
Raya updates
Another one with my uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews & nieces at Abang Jai’s. πŸ™‚

Well, enough on Raya updates, I shall move on to share about Khaleel’s update for the past 5 months.
Whoa, I haven’t blogged for 5 Β months ! Hahaha.
I feel so bad because I used to blog on Khayla’s updates pretty frequently when she was a baby. πŸ™

Anyway, here goes..

4 months progress

Khaleel started to roll over both directions. The first thing he would do when he woke up was roll over, so we would always put pillows around him as barriers. He could grasp toys or things pretty well.
Had his first episode of diarrhea for about 5 days, and then started developing rashes all over his body. Brought him to a paediatrician which confirmed it was viral exanthem.

Sayf Khaleel 8 months update

Sayf Khaleel 8 months update 3

5 months progress

He recognizes when we call his name. He slowly started to crawl at 5.5 months. Had his first swim in a pool at Port Dickson. Hehe. He adores his sister, and gets easily amused by almost anything Khayla does. Hehe.

avillion port dickson
Khayla & Khaleel having a swim ! Hehe.

6 months progress

Started on solids at 6.5 months, has been eating quite well everyday. He started to be able to sit down without support.

7 months progress

He successfully learned how to get into a sitting position by pushing up from his stomach. He jabbers a lot. Hehe. His favourite thing to do is stand while holding on to something, and he started being able to pull himself up from sitting to standing.

Sayf Khaleel 8 months update 2
Khaleel trying to give me a heart attack by showing off that he can stand with only one hand supported. -_____-

8 months progress

Expresses his feelings by screaming, no actual words yet, still jabbers a lot. Starting to get very attached to me, sometimes to the extent of not wanting to go to his Ayah.
Alhamdulillah, so far he is still fully breastfed while on solids. I reallllyyy pray and hope I can breastfeed him until at least 1 year. Ameen !

I have been sending him to a babysitter for 5 months now and Alhamdulillah, so far so good.Β May Allah protect him at all times. May Allah make it easy for the babysitter to take care of him. Ameen ameen.

I hope I have covered all his milestones, until my next post, bye ! πŸ™‚

Of Trials

The first 14 days of confinement were not a bed of roses for me.
And it has nothing to do with the confinement ‘rules’.
Allow me to share on what happened…

Scenario 1:

The day after Khaleel’s birth, I received a call from Umra, telling me that their paediatrician has something to discuss with me. Mr. Sunshine and I brought Khaleel along to Umra that evening.
The paediatrician told us that they just got the results for the vaginal swab for group B streptococcus (GBS) they did on me the first time I came to Umra the previous Wednesday. It was positive.

You see, being a GBS carrier is perfectly normal and natural as it is found as part of the normal gut flora in 20-30% of men and women, and the vagina in roughly 1 in 4 women.
So, it does not carry any health risk to the carrier, which in this case is myself.

However, a baby delivered via a vaginal delivery has a risk to develop a GBS infection.

The paediatrician wanted to admit Khaleel and start him on intravenous gentamicin & benzylpenicillin.
You can imagine how shocked both Mr Sunshine and I were.

We were not keen about starting our 2 day-old baby on antibiotics unnecessarily, so we asked for some time to think about it. He gave us 10 minutes. We could not make a decision that quick, so we signed the at-own-risk (AOR) discharge slip and brought Khaleel home.

We called a couple of friends who were doctors and asked for their opinions and decided to get a second opinion that night itself, from PPUM.

With tears streaming down my cheeks, I packed my bags just in case Khaleel had to be admitted.

We arrived at PPUM close to midnight that day.
The medical officer at PPUM told us that he thinks Khaleel is fine as it has already been 40 hours since his birth, however he did a blood test just to be sure.
We waited until after 0200 hours for the results, and Alhamdulillah they were normal. We reached home almost 0400 hours that morning.

Yes, I went through all the above with my sore perineum, 40 hours after delivering my baby. *nangis*

Scenario 2:

On Monday, November 23rd, Khayla woke up with a fever and she was coughing really bad. I told Mr Sunshine to bring her to her paediatrician in DEMC to get her checked.

That afternoon, Mr Sunshine called me from the hospital to tell me that Khayla needed to be admitted. She was down with acute bronchitis.

I immediately broke down.
My confinement lady, Kak Anda tried to console me and told me that it was not good to cry that much during confinement.
I could not control my emotions.
My heart broke thinking about Khayla and Mr. Sunshine who had to skip classes to stay with Khayla in the hospital.

Khayla was admitted that day, and I was at home with Khaleel and Kak Anda.
I was so exhausted from not being able to take a nap during the day and from all the crying I did.
Khaleel slept with Kak Anda that night. *nangis*
I was fortunate that I had expressed breastmilk stored in the refrigerator.

That night, I cried myself to sleep.

Alhamdulillah, Khayla was discharged last Friday.
Mr Sunshine skipped 3 days of classes last week. Poor him.
I spent 4 nights (crying every now and then because I missed Mr. Sunshine and Khayla) at home with Khaleel and Kak Anda.

Now, how’s that for drama ?
Hehe.

But Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear, kan ?

Goodnight ! πŸ™‚

Khayla after 10 months at an Islamic Montessori

Alhamdulillah it has been 10 months since Khayla started attending an Islamic Montessori. Click here to read my previous update on this. πŸ™‚

So, apart from her so-called toddler regression (which is under control now that Mr. Sunshine is sending her to school), I can say that she has been doing pretty good at school.

She tries to speak in English, and would sometimes ‘order’ me to do so too if I ask her to pass me something. “Saya tak nak bagi if Mummy tak cakap English and cakap ‘please’.”
Pffft, over tau ! Hehe.

She is trying to form more complex sentences and usually direct translates from Malay, like for example, “I want to go shop eat.”
I will praise her for trying but at the same time correct her. πŸ™‚

She has also started to learn to read in English.
She is currently on book 3 of the Ladybird Read With Me series. Hers is the Tom and Kate version, I used to read about Peter and Jane when I was small. Ahh, the memories !

We try to read to her before she goes to bed every night.

islamic montessori
The Read with Me series which Khayla has been reading.

Alhamdulillah.

There are also swimming classes which Khayla attends once a week but I think she’s having mixed feelings about them. Two weeks ago, she actually told her teacher that her head hurts so she can’t swim.
(Of course Mr. Sunshine and I have reminded her that it is not good to pretend to be in pain for any reason at all.)

Lately, she has been showing interest in solat. She would keep telling me that she “nak solat,” and keeps asking me if it’s time to pray already. She memorizes the basics that need to be recited during prayers because she has learnt in at school during her Solat Dhuha sessions. She obviously has lots to pick up but she’s only four, so inshaAllah, in due time. πŸ™‚

Khayla and her classmates are currently busy preparing for their annual school concert day next month. How exciting !! Looking forward to attend it (before or after I pop ! haha), InshaAllah.

Mr Sunshine and I have already paid the booking fee for next year’s session at the same kindergarten, so that just goes to show that we are satisfied with Khayla’s progress ! Yayyyyy ! Alhamdulillah. πŸ™‚

3D 4D Scan

Early last month, I registered for a pregnancy 3D & 4D ultrasound scanning through 3D 4D Scan Malaysia.
I opted for the RM120 package, which can be carried out from 22 to 30 weeks gestation.

What attracted me to the package was that:

  1. I could book online. No calls needed. I am lazy like that. Haha.
  2. They offered services in Shah Alam, apart from all the other locations.
  3. They are currently offering two ‘challenges’:
    (a) The Face Challenge in which the service will be FOC if they fail to capture the baby’s face (except for in Shah Alam, you still need to pay 50%) and
    (b) The Gender Confirmation Challenge in which they will FULLY REFUND you if they get the gender wrong !

Interesting, kan ?

The sonographer who attended to me was Deborah and she was such a darling.
Baby was really shy (hands over face most of the time) yet active, Alhamdulillah, so she had to shake my tummy so many times to make the baby turn so she can get a clearer shot.

Khayla was also running around the room and Deborah even said, “Yang luar tak boleh duduk diam, yang kat dalam ini pun sama tak boleh duduk diam.” Hahaha.

Of course, they got the tak-boleh-duduk-diam genes from Mr. Sunshine, takkan lah from me kan. *angelic smile*

Alhamdulillah, Mr Sunshine, Khayla and I got to see how the little one inside of me looks like through the scan. πŸ™‚

For pregnant mothers looking for a place to get a 3D/4D scan done, I would highly recommend you try them out. πŸ™‚

Here is the link to their Facebook page as well.

P.S.: This is not a paid advertisement. I am just sharing ! πŸ™‚

And We Turned Five.

Mr. Sunshine and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on January 9th.
Alhamdulillah for 5 years of ups and downs with my Sunshine. Thank you Allah !!

So the weekend after the 9th I planned a little surprise for Mr. Sunshine and I which was a one night’s stay in one of the hotel’s in the city. Marc & Linn helped to babysit Khayla for one night.

We Turned Five
We attended a wedding before our romantic (ahem) getaway started. Hehe.

That Saturday evening, we walked from Pavilion to KLCC to watch a movie, wanted to watch Night At The Museum: Secret of The Tomb, but while we were queueing up, we googled up the reviews and decided to watch Paddington, instead.
Both Mr. Sunshine and I agreed that it was a good last minute decision because it was a pretty good movie. Such a charming, warm & funny family movie ! πŸ™‚

We had dinner at Ben’s KLCC.
I had the Pad Thai Linguine (which I would later regret, read on) and Mr Sunshine had the Beef Lasagna.

We Turned Five
Ben’s Beef Lasagna
We Turned Five
Ben’s Pad Thai Linguine

We walked back to Pavilion and I treated Mr. Sunshine to his favourite Auntie Anne’s pretzel. Hehe.

We Turned Five
Pretty lights at KLCC park that night

The next morning, I woke up and had to run straight to the toilet to purge. My tummy felt so uncomfortable.Β I was down with diarrhea and I suspect it was because of the linguine ! Isk isk. :'(

After a few visits to the toilet, Mr Sunshine and I walked to Pavilion (again) to have breakfast at Coffee Bean. No, we don’t normally have breakfast at Coffee Bean, it was part of the anniversary celebration thingy lah, hehe.

We Turned Five
My delicious Egg’s Benedict
We Turned Five
My Sunshine and I. <3

After breakfast, we drove straight to Putrajaya, bought some Nasi Beriyani Gam for lunch with Khayla, Marc, Marlene, Daddy & Fahim.

I was still purging. It got worse to the point I had a gastric attack later that evening. Dah lama sangat tak gastric tauuuu !
Anyway, I got better, Alhamdulillah.

I hoped Mr Sunshine enjoyed the short getaway I planned. Hehe. A huge thank you to Marc & Linn for helping to watch over Khayla ! πŸ™‚

I personally think all married couples should try something like this once in a while. It’ll be good for your relationship, InshaAllah. πŸ™‚

Updates !

Assalamu’alaikum lovelies !
Hi. πŸ™‚

How is everyone doing ?
I can’t believe that it’s already 16th Ramadhan 1435H.
Are we satisfied with what we have done for the past 16 days ? Have we satisfied Allah ?

Alhamdulillah, Khayla turned 3 last Friday according to the Hijrah calendar (13 Ramadhan), but her actual birth date is 13th August 2014, so we’re waiting until next month to get a cake. I am thinking of a Frozen themed one, because she’s Anna and I am Elsa (and Ayah is Olaf ‘gemuk’, tsk tsk), ya know ? Hehe.

Any suggestions on where I can get it from ?
20140706_152331
Oh boy, I can’t believe she’s 3 !
She is sooooo talkative. Mr. Sunshine claims she got that trait from me, pfffftt. :-p

I have been sending her to a nursery since April this year.
Which means she is no longer being taken care of by the babysitter in front of our house because she would cry every single morning when I dropped her off. It was torturous to see her like that every morning. I would sometimes cry all the way to work too ! Tsk tsk.

But Alhamdulillah, she does not cry in the mornings anymore. Well, there are the occasional emo sessions but it is a whole lot better than crying EVERY DAY.
She is learning quite a lot from the nursery. New songs, new doas, new words. Most of them are in Malay lah. She knows the doa makan & meaning, doa tidur & meaning, doa selepas makan, ayat Kursi and she loves to berzikir. She insists that I play my zikir CD in the car every day. Alhamdulillah.

My only worry is that she not speaking English. Yes she does know some English words, but 80% of her vocabulary is in Malay. I am not trying to say that English is more superior than Malay, but I grew up speaking English at home so it’s only natural that I would want her to be able to speak in English too. The Malay language is not an issue, because it’s our mother tongue, pasti boleh cakap melayu punya. πŸ™‚
Is it too late to get her to learn English ?
I would appreciate any tips. πŸ™‚

I wanted to blog about my new workplace but I think I have written too much already hehe.
I guess I’ll save that for another post. πŸ™‚

Until then, bye !

of dian khayla turning two & our 2013 eid celebrations

Well, hello there everyone !
Assamu’alaikum !
Selamat Hari Raya ! Still valid lah I guess since today is the last day of Syawal, teehee. πŸ™‚

This is going to be a looooong post so bear with me ok ? πŸ™‚

On the 13th of August, 2 years ago, after 21 hours of labour (yes, you can click here to relive my birthing experience, hee), this precious gem was born !

Happy 2nd Birthday my Beautiful Light !

Thank you Allah. πŸ™‚

Dearest DK, Mummy loves you so so so so much & I cannot imagine life without you and your incessant chatter.
I pray that you grow up to be bright and the best in this world & the hereafter. May you be blessed with all the pretty, happy & wonderful things you deserve. Aameen.

Loadsa love, hugs & sloppy kisses from your Mummy ! :’)

Mr. Sunshine and I planned a birthday celebration for Khayla at Burger King, Extreme Park, Shah Alam on the August 25th. We invited family, some relatives friends who lived nearby.
I ordered a Barney themed birthday cake & Mr. Sunshine hired ‘Barney’ to entertain the kids.

The Barney we hired turned out to be skinny and looked pretty different (haha) from the real Barney, so Khayla wasn’t really pleased. In fact, she was terrified ! Haha.

The birthday cake from Jasmeen Home Delights

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL, WOOT WOOT !

Cake cutting session. πŸ™‚

Told ya she was terrified of this version of Barney. Poor baby ! Hehe.
I even had to distract her with a toy to take a picture with Barney.
Us, sans Fahim who was asleep. Hehe. I look so tired !

Arina & pretty Ayra !

With my BFF Annisa and Lene.

The in-laws πŸ™‚

The extended family ! πŸ™‚

The friends ! πŸ™‚

Mak & Abah who came all the way from Batu Pahat. :’)

Disclaimer: No carbonated drinks were served at the party. Hehe.

Alhamdulillah, the party went smoothly. Khayla would like to thank everyone for their presence & presents ! πŸ™‚

Now moving on to our Raya celebrations this year, as I mentioned in my previous post, we spent Raya eve and the first two days of Syawal in Gombak this year.
Daddy bought beef rendang from Aunty Leha and I made some peanut sauce, chicken curry (as per Mr Sunshine’s request) & boiled some nasi himpit. πŸ™‚

I had a makeup malfunction on the first day of Syawal. I realized I bought the wrong eyeliner because this one made me look like I have black eyes. Blergh. And because I didn’t bring my makeup remover, I had to deal with fugly eyes the whole day !

Selamat Hari Raya ya’ll ! πŸ™‚

We went to arwah Mummy’s close friend, Aunty Zainah’s place in the morning. When I was small, I used to think that this was our kampung. Yes, that’s how long we’ve known Aunty Zainah ! :”)

Sunshine ! πŸ™‚

Seth Fahim wore a baju melayu along with a sampin, super cute tau !

The future dentist and I.

The only photo we took at Aunty Leha’s place was of Khayla and her cousins, hehe.

At Aunty Maziey’s. Just like the good old days. πŸ™‚

With Sal on the second day of Syawal before leaving for Batu Pahat. πŸ™‚

Last stop the day before I go back to work – Mak Andak’s. πŸ™‚

There’s gonna be a huge change in our lives, soon InshaAllah. No, Khayla is not getting a sibling, YET. I’ll blog about it soon.  Ok ok, I’LL TRY to blog about it soon. Don’t be mad if I blog about it 6 months after it happens, haha.

I hope all of you had a splendid Raya ! πŸ™‚

between getting old and old memories.

Okayyyy it’s about time for an update !
*blows dust off blog*

I’m so sorry for abandoning this space for more than two months ! I wonder if anyone still reads my blog ? Anyone ? Hello ?

*crickets sounds*

These days I always fall asleep earlier than I intend to every night. I usually doze off while putting Khayla to bed, not because I am exhausted or tired but because our bed has become just too comfy since Mr. Sunshine brought our portable air cond from Gombak to Shah Alam. *blushes*
As much as I want to stay up, I just succumb to the cool breeze and comfy mattress, sometimes even BEFORE Khayla dozes off. Haha. So that’s why I have so little to no time to blog. πŸ™‚

Before I start rambling away, this a personal message to Mel Ng, haha.
Mel ! You can connect with me on Instagram (melissaraffur) and Facebook (Melissa Raffur). πŸ˜€

Anywayyy, life hasn’t changed so much since I last wrote.
Khayla is officially off the pacifier. Alhamdulillah. I feel that her pacifier has played a role in her frequent fever/flu all this while.

I turned 29 last month. Happy birthday to me ! Do I feel old ? Nope. Haha, with the exception of my osteoarthritic knees, I think I’m doing okayy for a 29-year old. Do I look old ? Haha that’s for you to judge lah. :p

Marc treated me (along with the rest of the family) to some Seoul Garden. Yums ! I was down with stomach poisoning that weekend, but it didn’t stop me from gobbling down all the delicious food.

The sister in-law treated me to some Fullhouse. πŸ™‚

Annisa darling took me to Baci, Citta Mall. πŸ™‚

Mr. Sunshine brought me out on a date to watch Iron Man 3, wheee !

Awww, I feel so blessed. Alhamdulillah. πŸ™‚

I just got back from a getaway to Cherating last weekend with my family (Daddy, Marc, Marlene, Linn & Fahim included !). Cherating brings back a lot sweet memories when arwah Mummy was still around, so it was good to be able to go back there and reminisce.

Khayla and I at our favourite Hai Peng Kopitiam.

Before leaving our Antara Suite at Holiday Villa, Cherating.

You can view the rest of the photos on Instagram. πŸ™‚

Ok gotta get back to playing the Fishing Game with Khayla.
What Fishing Game ?

THIS ONE !

Hahahaha. Khayla loves to catch the ‘pish’ and ‘atak’ (masak) them for me.

Ok bye.
